Cannabis Peanut Brittle

Cannabis Peanut Brittle

This simple, cannabis-infused peanut brittle recipe will easily satisfy any sweet tooth. Peanut brittle is the perfect medicated dessert choice for those who prefer a less-overwhelming cannabis flavor.

IMPORTANT: Before you begin, have all the ingredients measured out and ready to go— this recipe requires that you move quickly!
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons cannabis butter or kief butter
1 cup white granulated sugar
½ cup light corn syrup
¼ teaspoon salt
¼ cup water
1 cup lightly chopped peanuts
1 teaspoon baking soda

Directions:
Grease a large baking sheet and set aside for later.
In a large saucepan, mix sugar, corn syrup, salt and water. Slowly bring mixture to boil over low-medium heat, and stir until sugar has dissolved.
Add chopped peanuts to sugar mixture and set candy thermometer in place. Continue cooking.
Stir frequently until thermometer reaches 300 degrees F.
Remove from heat, and immediately add the cannabis butter and baking soda. Stir until both are completely mixed.
Pour hot mixture onto greased baking sheet, and spread out using buttered spatula or wax paper.
Set aside to cool.
Once hardened to the touch, snap brittle into desired sized pieces and enjoy!
Cannabis peanut brittle can be stored at room temperature in an airtight container.
